Unique New York Café Selling Only Purified Tap Water
The latest trendy café in New York City might be a surprise to some. Their menu is rather limited to say the least; only purified tap water and a few extra A, B, C, D and E vitamins if you want to add to something to the water.
How did the water café launch?
The Molecule Project is a new type of café without any unhealthy cafes or sugar filled milkshakes. Instead of wasting plastic bottles, the idea is to serve pure and tasty water without adding chemicals while going carbon-neutral.
A unique water filter
The giant water filtration machine uses ‘ultraviolet rays, ozone treatments and reverse osmosis’ in a 7 stage processing treatment in order to create pure H20. Each machine cost around £16 117 ($US 25 000). Prices for water refills are £0.65 ($1) for a Canteen, £1.30 ($2) for a XL Canteen or £1.95 ($3) for 1 gallon of purified New York tap water. You can add vitamins starting at £1 (1) per serving.
Do you want to try this healthy café in New York? Head to East Village in Lower Manhattan.
