Six floors of Four World Trade Center (4 WTC) will be available for retail use. The rest of the 72 floors will be used for commercial purposes and offices.

Interesting facts about Four World Trade Center

The original Four World Trade Center was damaged in the 9/11 terrorist attacks and demolished. The new Four World Trade Center and Three World Trade Center skyscrapers are being built on the same site.

Current and previous owners

The building is owned by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the headquarters for the Port Authority will be based in the building.

What’s unique about it

Four World Trade Center has a much more simple and modest design compared to the new World Trade Center skyscrapers. This was a deliberate choice, out of respect for the 9/11 Memorial Park. The high-rise floors 48 to 63 have been designed in a trapezoid shape. These will point toward the tip of Manhattan, and will face One World Trade Center. The shape of Four World Trade Center has been specifically designed to be the backdrop of the 9/11 Memorial Park.
