After a few weeks hard work, Google have rewarded the site by giving NY.co.uk sitelinks. The semi-automatic process of showing sitelinks are a way for Google to easily and quickly direct visitors to some of the most likely sub-pages they would like to visit.

“Sitelinks (the links that appear beneath some search results and link deeper into the site) are generated in part by an offline process that analyzes site structure and other data to determine the most relevant links to show users.”

When are sitelinks shown for NY.co.uk?

When search for our url aka brand name, NY.co.uk, Google shows some of the more popular pages from the site. Since we would prefer a few other links highlighted, Markus are going into Webmaster tools to suggest a few new sitelinks. I’ve earlier read some search marketing agencies saying that the sites must be several years old to by eligible for sitelinks. This is obviously not true, since NY.co.uk is less 8 months year old.
